Since its inception in 1968, the Hotel & Lodging Association of Greater Houston has been a non-profit professional trade association of the lodging industry in greater Houston that represents over 250 members comprised of general managers, operators and owners of lodging facilities as well as suppliers, service companies, and consultants who sell and service the hospitality industry. 

The Hotel & Lodging Association of Greater Houston represents the lodging industry and provides a avenue to further professionalism, knowledge, and profitability. It provides a means of cooperation and camaraderie within the industry as well as a public awareness effort outside of the industry.
