Dr. Cristian Morosan is the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Donald H. Hubbs Professor at the Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership with expertise in information technology and innovation. He has accumulated over 20 years of teaching in higher education and over 30 years of involvement with the hospitality industry.
Dr. Morosan’s research has been funded by regional organizations such as the European Union, Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals, and several state and local governments in the U.S. His most recent funded research focuses on the role of artificial intelligence in the hospitality industry and higher education. He has an extensive portfolio of peer-reviewed and invited publications and is a regular presenter at prestigious industry and academic events. Dr. Morosan received several awards, such as the Teaching Excellence Award for Innovation in Instructional Technology, the Stephen Rushmore/HVS Research Excellence Award, the University of Houston Leadership in Teaching Excellence Award, and best paper awards.
Dr. Morosan has been teaching courses in information technology, innovation, marketing, and management. Dr. Morosan is an avid innovator and is always looking for opportunities to introduce students to new technologies.
